Jan-Kristian Markiewicz
Jan-Kristian recently moved from Norway to work on the Tablet PC team in Redmond. As a program manager on the Input Panel team, he is responsible for driving new improvements to pen text input on the Tablet PC platform.
While attending the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and the University of California, Santa Barbara, he received acknowledgement as both a Microsoft Student Ambassador and as a Microsoft Student Partner. He has participated in the Imagine Cup student software design contest 2004-2006, which has taken him to the world finals in both Brazil and India. In India his team placed third with their solution for monitoring and distributing health parameters.
